Our Purpose:
To ignite a passion for prayer within our body.
To provide prayer covering for our pastor, his family, our church, our community, Our State, Our Country and the world, as the Lord leads. Acts 1: 7-8
To come along side Pastor Cross and serve in praying for the needs of the ministry of LWC.
It is written,
“Jesus said, “My house will be called a house of prayer.”
Mark 21:13
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication… - Acts 1:14
And they continued steadfastly in the apostle’ doctrine...and in prayers.—Acts 2:42
“Father, we ask You to ignite a fire in us to pray and see the manifestations of promises ordained of old in this generation. We decree that You are rising in our hearts, by the Spirit, and releasing Your zeal on us to pray and bring forth fulfillment as the early church did. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
Prayer Quilt Minstry
The Lord’s Quilters” are doing an amazing job for the Lord. These ladies make healing quilts for those in need. As they sew each quilt many prayers for the Recipents are being sown.
If you see quilts at the altar please don’t hestitate to pray over them. We have had testimony after testimony on how God is using these quilts to uplift people and their faith. You might see Military quilts and even children’s quilts, please lay hands on them and pray over them.
Each members receiving these quilts are in need of healing. It’s so special to the indivual to receive a quilt who is fighting a battle and know the prayers of the saints are behind them.
The little “mini” quilts are for our Pastor to hand out to folk that are in the hospital or someone who needs a healing touch.
The cost of these quilts vary between $30 and $50 per quilt. We have occasional raffles on a quilt during the holidays to help sustain the price of these quilts. Any donations with gift cards from JoAnn Fabrics or Hobby Lobby’s would be appreciated, or you may make a donation to the “Lord’s Quilters” on your offering envelope.
