Living Word Church

5 min Praise
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Take some time to declare what you are thankful for in your life. You could also sing some hymns or choruses.
Thank God for what seems to be some unsolved murders being revealed.

5 min Meditating on God's Greatness
There is none like You, O LORD; You are great, and great is Your name in might. (Jer.10: 6)
For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. (Ps. 96:4)
I said, "I beseech You, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who preserves the covenant and loving kindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments. (Neh. 1:5)
Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. (Is. 12:6)
For the LORD Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth. (Ps. 47:2)
which He will bring about at the proper time--He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords. (I Tim. 6:15)

• Sexual sin in the church (Fornication, living together, porn, etc.). (Eph. 5:3-7)
• Grumbling and complaining within the church and not giving thanks. (Eph. 4:29)

Area Confessions – for our community:

• For fatherlessness in our community.
• Not honoring fathers that are in homes, as we should.

5 min Praying the Scriptures over our area
The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes; He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know. In paths they do not know. I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them.” (Is. 42:13, 16)
Where sin abounds, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom. 5:20-21)
We pray for the peace and prosperity of our county that we are pilgrims in. We pray for it to prosper and be in peace, in Jesus' name. (Jer. 29:7)
Father we declare that our city is rejoicing because it is going well with the uncompromisingly righteous. By the blessing of the influence of the UPRIGHT, we call our city EXALTED. Bless the upright people, leaders and businesses in our region. (Prov. 11:10-11)
Thank you, Father, that You are purging our city of scoffers who would set it afire, inflaming the minds of the people, and because Your people are using Godly wisdom, we are turning away anger, violence and hatred. (Prov. 29:8)
And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse." Mal 4:6 (NKJV)

5 min Praying over Specific Areas of Need in our County

Fathers –That they would take their place in their homes and with their children.
Pray that the church and civic leaders would have the grace to provide activities that would reach out to youth in our area and give them positive things to do through the summer.
We declare and decree that righteousness shall prevail over evil and that darkness is turned to His Light. His light is shining throughout this region, exposing and revealing all deception and every evil work.

10 min Praying for the Church in Muskegon
That the church would recognize the season we are in and respond appropriately.
That there would be biblical unity in and between churches. (John 17)
That biblical manhood and fatherhood would be preached and modeled in our churches.
Summer outreaches: Child Evangelism, VBS’s, Maranatha Bible Conferences, Christian camping programs, open air and street evangelism.
That pastors would spend more time in intimate fellowship with the Lord and then share the benefits with their people.
Pray that creative strategies would be given to the church to take the power of the gospel to an increasingly secular culture, so they can experience the power of the Kingdom of God.
That believers would be faithful with their attendance and tithing through the summer.
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19) (NKJV)
